Their names are:
Disco Dust
Petal Dust
Disco Dust is an edible glitter. It will add sparkle to just about anything. There are lots of beautiful colors to choose from including clear glitters that have a different colored iridescence. They catch the light beautifully, and you can add them to about anything. Use a dry paint brush and paint it on fondant or chocolate, or pinch it and sprinkle it over top cupcakes or buttercream cakes. It's also fun to add to champagne and cocktails for a special touch.
Petal Dust is a very fine powder that has a matte finish to it. It also comes in lots of colors and is great to dry brush onto fondant, gumpaste, and chocolate.
Luster Dust is probably my favorite of the three products. Like petal dust, luster dust is a very fine powder, but instead of the matte finish, it has a great luster and sheen to it. It's great for dry brushing on fondant and gumpaste flowers, but I have recently started using it on chocolate, such as white chocolate wedding favors. I absolutely adore using it on the chocolate. It sets the favors apart and adds something most people haven't seen before.
Petal and Luster Dust can also be mixed with vodka and turned into a paint. The higher proof the better because the alcohol will evaporate rather quickly. This is yet another way to make your project stand out.
All three of these products are great additions to every cake decorators arsenal of tools. They come in lots of stunning colors.
These are examples. I used disco dust, luster dusts, and petal dust on wafers of white chocolate.
Keep crafty!
